Vijay's Nanban will have a huge solo opening at the Box Office this pongal. As the release of the other pongal contestent Vettai has been  pushed two days later than Nanban. Nanban was directed by Shankar and the vettai was directed by Linguswamy.

Mathan Karky never expected Nanban.


Madhan Karky ( Son of Vairamuthu ) , who wrote two songs in Nanban . The two songs are Asku Laska and Endhan kan Munne. The songs hit the floor on 23rd December. In the asku laska  he used 16 languages.


Asku Laska songs got huge response from the Tamil audience.All posite reviews makes Madhan Karky happy.He said via twitter
